Our Pastors

Senior Pastor:  Jared Hiebert

Jared is the lead pastor at Cornerstone Bible Church. He was born in Steinbach, but has lived all over western Canada and in the United States. Jared is married to Tanya and they have two children, Meagan and Josh.

Jared brings a love of preaching, teaching and discipleship to our church. He is also a sports fanatic, and has a special affection for the Montreal Canadiens and the Denver Broncos.

Jared has graduated from Providence College (Otterburne, MB) with his Bachelor of Arts in Religious Studies, and has a Masters of Divinity (Honours) from Providence Theological Seminary (Otterburne, MB). Upon completion of his Masters, Jared began teaching Bible and theology at Peace River Bible Institute (Sexsmith, AB). After four years in the classroom, Jared and his family moved to Philadelphia, PA and spent almost two years there while Jared worked on his Ph.D. in historical and systematic theology at Westminster Theological Seminary. He is currently completing his doctoral dissertation.

Youth Pastor:  Doug Reimer

Doug loves youth, and brings a great deal of passion and experience in discipleship and outreach to our church. He also loves the outdoors – camping, fishing, hiking, biking, etc.

Doug has graduated from Briercrest College (Caronport, SK) with a B.A. in Youth Ministries. While at Briercrest, Doug worked extensively at Joe’s Place in Moose Jaw, an inner city drop-in center. He has also gone on many missions trips, both in Canada and abroad.
